A quick guide to how Sage Journal handles private entries, shared links, moods and account access.
Are my journals public?
No. Journals are private to your account unless you create and send a share link for a specific journal.
Can I revoke a shared link?
Yes. Regenerating a journal share link invalidates the previous link and creates a new one.
How is mood overview calculated?
It counts the mood selected on each entry. The dashboard shows “Mostly” for the mood that appears most often.
Do I need Spotify connected?
No. Sage Journal uses Spotify embeds from public Spotify URLs, not the Spotify SDK or account connection.
